🧠 SLOWLY BUT SURELY
It’s always difficult to get back into routine after a long summer break. Before we could practice our instruments at home with a lot of free time, or after a fun activity - but now it is after a half day of full day of school!
Kids will feel tired, so make sure parents we help our children ease back in.
Make sure they:
- Eat a snack before they practice
- If it is after a swimming lesson, just practice everything only ONCE (because swimming is a very very tiring physical sport)
- It’s normal if they get a bit frustrated (practice the easy things first)
- Make sure they know it is part of the schedule / routine
During practice:
- Follow the Muso Piano Diary and colour in the practice progress
- Give high fives and positive encouragement
- Have brain breaks: Play 3 or 5 soft toy catches in between each music activity

🌟 Final Thoughts
Building confidence happens one practice session at a time. Through small steady effort, uncertainty gradually transforms into positive discipline and attitude.
Show up. Stay patient. Trust the progress. And remember, practicing a little bit everyday is better than one big cram session before the lesson 🎶
Confidence doesn’t happen by chance — it’s built with intention.
